On social media, a video of an eagle playing badminton with an unexpected opponent has gone viral. A group of pals are playing badminton in the video clip that @samruddhi_khatri has shared extensively on Instagram, when an eagle swoops down to join in the fun.
The shuttlecock is seen being served into the air by one of the players in the footage, but the eagle quickly snatches it up in its talons and drops it back. The "game" has been called "birdminton" by many.
The video has gotten a lot of attention and thousands of Instagram views. "It was going to be a badminton player but due to family pressure it became a hawk," a user wrote. "Good eagle, the one on my roof attached me three times to my head and ripped my hair," commented another netizen. "Literally Disney Princess moment, this is so cute," jokingly said a third person.
