Shweta Kukreja, the founder of The Marketing Anatomy, expressed her preference for Hyderabad over Mumbai and Bengaluru, citing various reasons for her choice. She mentioned that having lived in Hyderabad for a year, she finds the city underrated and believes it excels "in terms of everything".
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kukreja wrote, “Lived in Hyderabad for a year and I would, any day, choose Hyderabad over Bangalore and Mumbai. This city is so underrated, in terms of everything. Less traffic (comparatively), ORR Road for airport (bestest), greenery (literally everywhere), aesthetics (unreal), food... Need to hype this city up!”

This city is so underrated, in terms of everything.
> Less traffic (comparatively)
> ORR Road for airport (bestest)
> Greenery (literally everywhere)
> Aesthetics (unreal)
> Food (🤌🤤)…
Highlighting the safety aspect of Hyderabad, Kukreja mentioned, "Yes. Hyderabad is safe as well. I have been out till 2–3 a.m. sometimes, and it's quite safe in that way. Rest it depends on where you’re staying."
While Kukreja's praise for Hyderabad garnered some positive responses, not all netizens shared the same sentiment. Some expressed concerns about overhyping the city, fearing it might lead to overpopulation and other issues.
We hyped Pune and its so messed up! Don’t hype! Say Hyderabad is avg or mediocre! 😂

One user cautioned, “Please do not hype it up. Do not want it to turn into the next Bengaluru or Mumbai”, while another echoed similar sentiments, "We hyped Pune and it's so messed up! Don’t hype! Say Hyderabad is average or mediocre!"
Contrary to Kukreja's views, some users shared their negative experiences or differing preferences. One user who lived in Hyderabad for eight years mentioned leaving the city due to reasons like isolation and limited connectivity. Another user compared Hyderabad to Bengaluru, citing professional life, hangout options, and access to amenities as factors influencing their preference for Bengaluru.
Overall, Kukreja's endorsement of Hyderabad sparked a discussion on the city's strengths and weaknesses, showcasing the diversity of opinions among netizens regarding different aspects of life in Hyderabad compared to other major cities in India.
