Nouman Hassan, known for his videos featuring various wild animals as pets, including tigers, snakes, and crocodiles, faced significant backlash online following the incident.
The video in question captured Nouman sitting on a sofa with another individual while the cheetah lounged beside them. As Nouman reached out to pet the cheetah's head, the animal suddenly lashed out, scratching him and prompting him to retreat from the scene. The video quickly gained traction, drawing widespread criticism from viewers.
Nouman's actions in the video stirred intense condemnation on social media, with many users condemning his behaviour as "cruel" and advocating for wild animals to be left undisturbed in their natural habitats. One user expressed their dismay, stating, "So cruel for this beautiful animal. It should be in its natural environment. Just so cruel."
