Many people celebrate Holi by doing the traditional thing, which involves using water and colors. Conversely, some take an alternative course. A group of people, purportedly a group of builders, are seen enjoying one of the largest festivals in the nation in a manner that has drawn criticism in a video that has gone viral online.

Breaking down the video

In the video, the builders are shown dancing with a woman who is only partially clothed and engaging in strange actions with her. The woman seemed to be objectified in the video. Though no formal confirmation on the matter has been provided by anyone in a position of authority, the woman dancing in the video is reportedly a "foreigner." The men in the group are also seen drinking booze in the footage.

Matura dawns the unholy!

The Holy City of Mathura, which is renowned for its temples and its significance in Hindu mythology, is where this episode occurred. This information has caused discomfort for several people. Many of the people who were "offended" have expressed their disapproval of the events seen in the film, calling it "licentious." On the social media site X (previously Twitter), some individuals voiced their "grievances" by uploading a video and identifying the Mathura police, calling on them to investigate the situation.

Holi and the happenings

Compared to the southern region of the country, Holi is a major festival in India, with more festivities taking place in the northern and western regions. Despite being a joyful and colorful occasion, it has frequently been portrayed negatively because of preventable actions taken by those who push their celebrations to the point where they cause discomfort for others.
