New Delhi: An off-duty Mumbai Police officer performed a heroic rescue at Goregaon Railway Station, saving a man who had fallen while trying to board a moving train. The quick response of the officer prevented what could have been a serious accident. 

A man's life was saved from a potentially disastrous situation at a train station. As he tried to board a moving train, he lost his balance and fell into the narrow gap between the train and the platform. With the train still moving, he was in danger of being pulled under. Luckily, PC Balaso Dhage, an off-duty officer heading home, witnessed the man's distress and swiftly intervened. He rushed to the scene and pulled the man to safety, preventing a tragic outcome.

Mumbai cop hailed as hero for saving man from train mishap

Mumbai Police highlighted the officer’s bravery in a social media post, stating, "PC Balaso Dhage, while commuting back home, noticed a man stuck between a moving train and the platform at Goregaon Railway Station. Acting swiftly, PC Dhage averted a tragedy and saved his life."

The rescue was captured on video and shared by Mumbai Police on August 30. The footage has since garnered significant attention, receiving over 700,000 views and nearly 30,000 likes. The post continues to attract numerous comments, with many praising PC Dhage for his quick and courageous actions.
