What does the festival have to offer?

The festival's "Flower-Derived Drinks" section will feature a variety of teas, including saffron, rooibos, and chamomile teas, as well as rose and rhododendron-infused squash (Buransh). The official went on to say that traditional floral preserves like Gulkand and Buransh chutneys will also be sold at the locations.

A segment of the festival will feature both contemporary and traditional flower-based meals. According to the official, the menu would include Sahjan ke Phool ki Bhaji, sunflower sandwiches, heron flower (Bak Pholl) fritters, and cold coffee laced with elderflowers. Dishes like Alu Shoibum Kanghou, which is prepared with bamboo flowers, and shingju, which is created with banana blossoms, come from the northeast, while Kumro Phuler Bora, Mocha Ghonta, and Mochar Chop are from West Bengal.

Chef Lippika Roy

The festival's 48-year-old food blogger and chef Lippika Roy announced that her theme will be Bengali cuisine's floral influences. She revealed that she will be serving savoury delights in the form of drumstick flowers and sweet dishes garnished with flower petals. As a result of their many travels and her husband's employment in the external affairs ministry, they have become acquainted with the impact of distinctive components in other cuisines, including Brazilian and Chinese. She started food blogging in 2010 after being motivated by what she saw abroad.

Those residing close to the venue can join the festival for a good time. The festival will not only offer food and drinks but will also provide a refreshing atmosphere.
