The Mumbai Crime Branch has identified Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi as wanted accused in connection with the firing incident outside actor Salman Khans residence. Subsequently, the FIR related to the case has been amended to include three additional sections under the Indian Penal Code, namely 506(2), 115, and 201, according to a Mumbai crime branch official.Anmol Bishnoi, previously uninvolved in cases in Mumbai, has been linked to the recent incident. Following the arrest of Sagal Pal and Vicky Gupta earlier this week, it was revealed that Anmol maintained contact with them regarding the firing episode at the actors residence. Anmol communicated with Sagal via an associates phone while Sagal was in Chandigarh.Shortly after the attack on Salman Khans residence in Mumbai on April 14, Anmol Bishnoi, purportedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the assault on social media. He posted on Facebook that the attack was trailer and issued a warning that future incidents would not target empty spaces but would escalate. Anmols Facebook post addressed Salman Khan directly, emphasising the groups capability and issuing a stern warning. The investigation by the Crime Branch uncovered that the Facebook account linked to Anmol Bishnoi was created on the day of the shooting incident and registered using an international mobile number. It was noted in the remand application of Sagal Pal and Vicky Gupta that they were suspects in the case, although not explicitly named. Details in the application mentioned a diary and a Facebook post claiming responsibility for the shooting. The IP address linked to the Facebook account was traced to Portugal.Further revelations during the investigation implicated Sagar and Vicky from their village in the conspiracy. The accused individuals arrived in Mumbai in February, rented a house in March, and returned to their village in Bihar for Holi festivities on March 18. It was during this period that they underwent training in handling firearms. Upon their return to Mumbai, Sagar fired shots outside Salman Khans residence on April 14, using a revolver provided to them as part of the plan.
