She fell asleep while waiting for a train. The incident occurred near the Chakia railway stations outer signal, as train number 15556, the Bapudham Motihari-Patliputra Express, had to halt abruptly. The train remained stationary for an extended period as efforts were made to remove the girl from the tracks. As the train was en route from Bapudham Motihari to Patliputra, the loco pilot noticed the girl lying in the middle of the tracks. Acting quickly, the driver applied the emergency brakes, stopping the train just in time and preventing what could have been a tragic accident. After halting the train, the driver repeatedly urged the girl to move, but she refused.
