An innovative business strategy has been taken from a jewelry shop in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where the owner has created a new approach to draw in customers. This new promotion method has drawn crowds, with many people gathering in the shop.
The shop's owner, Amit, revealed that instead of pouring money into promotion models, he spent the cash on his patrons. His idea? Giving out free gold nose pins to consumers who follow and engage with his store on social media.
One of the promotions is that the customers must like all the posts in the social media pages of the store. Once they complete the conditions, they are rewarded with a shiny gold nose pin. The promotion gimmick has been getting a huge response, with individuals lining up outside the shop waiting to receive their free gold.

Describing the rationale behind this campaign, Amit asserted, "We initiated a campaign where we offer 100% hallmark-approved gold jewelry for a paltry 4-5% service charge. Rather than investing money to hire models for ads, I wanted to invest money in my customers. The audience who likes our videos is rewarded with a gold nose pin. I have given out about 700-800 gold pins so far.".
This innovative marketing drive has not only raised the store's profile but also generated a tremendous amount of interest, even demonstrating that innovative customer engagement models can be more powerful than conventional advertising strategies.
