New Delhi: A disturbing incident has come to light from Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, where an 8-foot-long python was found in a vegetable box at a hotel in Lohara village. Although a video of the encounter surfaced online on Wednesday, the exact timing of the incident remains unclear. The video shows the massive python coiled up in a box filled with potatoes.
Following the discovery, the hotel owner was promptly notified and a professional snake catcher was called in for assistance. The python was safely rescued and released into the Lohara forest within a few hours. The video, which has widely surfaces on social media, captures the moment when the reptile is transported to a nearby water body and released into its natural habitat.

In a separate incident, a large python was recently spotted near SDM Model School in the Chander Vihar area of Delhi. The sighting caused a significant commotion as a crowd gathered to observe the reptile. The python was seen coiling itself while onlookers filmed the scene. There is currently no information on when this sighting occurred or whether the python was subsequently rescued by local authorities or wildlife experts.

5-foot python Found in Madhya Pradesh
On August 2, a 5-foot-long python was discovered hiding behind a schoolgirl's bag in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The alarming discovery was made by Vaishnavi Prajapat, a seventh-grade student from Indira Colony. Upon finding the snake, she panicked and ran out of the house screaming.
Her father, Rajendra Prajapat, was alerted to the situation and immediately contacted the forest department and snake catcher Kapil Goswami. Goswami arrived quickly and managed the situation with calm professionalism. The python was safely captured and handed over to the forest department for proper care and relocation.
