Recent investments in Karnataka

The most recent centre for numerous significant investments in the state is Devanahalli, which is located in the north of Bengaluru, close to the airport. The producer of Apple iPhones, Foxconn, announced last year that it is planning to invest an additional $1.67 billion, or around ₹14,000 crore, in Karnataka.

Foxconn apparently plans to use the extra funding to establish a manufacturing plant in Devanahalli, where it has already purchased 300 acres of property. In August of last year, the state government of Karnataka declared that Foxconn intended to invest $600 million in two component factories located in the state.
