A fiery exchange on a Delhi Metro train has been causing ripples on the web, with social networking sites in stitches. A Reddit user posted an account of a sidesplitting altercation between a young woman and a man on the train, recounting how their public altercation drew the attention of fellow passengers on the train. The fight, it is claimed, started after the woman accused the man of looking at her.

Heated exchange begins

After the trending Reddit post, the girl noticed the man staring at her and wanted to give him a piece of her mind (What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a girl before? You've been staring for so long). 

But the woman refused to believe him. She told him that he was always gazing at her and jeered at him.

The Verbal Duel Takes a Dramatic Turn As the argument went on, the young man, now clearly agitated, lashed back sarcastically. He informed the girl that she was not special enough to be looked at by him and informed her, "Dekh. Tum itni bhi khaas nahi ho ya koi apsara ya hoor ki pari nahi ho ki sirf tumko dekhun" (Look, you're not that special, you're not some divine beauty that I'd only look at you).

His comment simply fueled the anger of the lady, who retaliated with, "Haan, apsara aur hoor ki pari hooo, kya kar lega b*?" The best retort of the man came when he spoke in a derogatory tone, "Apsara hai to swarg chali ja." (If you're an apsara, then go to heaven).

Though it is not certain whether the male passenger was actually looking at the girl or there was a miscommunication, the viral Reddit thread has brought a flood of memes and hilarious reactions on the internet. The social media users couldn't help but comment on the endless drama that takes place in the Delhi Metro.
