With just a few hours left for the results to be announced for the Lok Sabha Election. According to the speculations that are going around with neck-to-neck contests between the political parties, the trends are going just differently from the exit polls. Meanwhile, an image of a boarding pass from Vistara Airlines that went viral on social media shows congress leader Rahul Gandhis name on it. It showed that the Congress leader is traveling to Thailand on June 5 in business class. The caption on the picture shared by X user “M S Manral ( Modi ka pariwar )” said, “Rahul Gandhis flight ✈️ ticket for June 5 - 2024 Business class Vistara Airlines”.Rahul Gandhis flight ✈️ ticket for June 5 - 2024 Business class Vistara Airlines 😲🤔 pic.twitter.com/sdGGnkc6nG— M S Manral ( Modi ka pariwar ) (@MSManral2) June 1, 2024The post got several reactions, soon after it got surfaced. However, after fact check it was found that the boarding pass was fake as it had several discrepancies, including two different flight numbers on the same boarding pass UK121 and UK115.According to the sources, the image was part of a column published on 7 August 2019 by Ajay Awtaney, the founder and editor of LiveFromALounge, who quoted Vistaras first international flight from Delhi to Singapore five years ago. “Having flown the first flight of Vistara domestically back in 2015, it was a done deal that I was going to fly them internationally as well on the first flight. Finally, the airline announced international operations in July 2019, and the first international flight was operated between Delhi and Singapore yesterday [6 August 2019], on which I flew,” he wrote. After the comparison of the two images, it was found that the image was morphed as it appears that whoever edited the photo forgot to change it at one of the two places in the boarding pass.Interestingly, this picture has surfaced after Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a rally said that he would leave the country for vacation after Lok Sabha elections results. Taunting him, PM Modi said he will leave abroad for summer vacation khatakhat khatakhat.
