A 68-year-old man in a wheelchair was taken to a bank by a Brazilian woman in a shocking instance to obtain a four-figure loan however, it was later discovered that the man had passed away. The disturbing images from the bank have sparked an intense national debate in Brazil, which has quickly taken place on social media. Workers at the bank in Rio de Janeiro apparently became skeptical of the lady who wheeled the man in and asked for a loan under his name, and on Tuesday they reportedly called emergency authorities. Authorities are attempting to build a link between the deceased man and the woman. As per media reports, the woman tried to get a loan of 17,000 reais (about $3,250) in the mans name, claiming to be his 68-year-old niece. According to local investigative chief Fabio Luiz, she tried to make it look like he was signing the paperwork, as reported by a news website. But when he entered the bank on wheels, he was already dead.
