PROMYS India is an intensive six-week residential summer programme designed for mathematically talented secondary and higher secondary students (Standards IX - XII or equivalent). Selected students from across India will converge at the esteemed Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, immersing themselves in a challenging and rigorous mathematical experience.
Closely modelled on its parent programme, the Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS), which has thrived at Boston University in the United States since 1989, PROMYS India aims to foster a deep appreciation for mathematics.
The application window for PROMYS India 2024 is currently open! The programme is scheduled to run from 5th May to 15th June 2024 (dates pending confirmation). Join an exceptionally talented group of students and counselors for six weeks of exhilarating mathematics at the picturesque campus of the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru.
All students accepted to PROMYS India 2024 will be granted full scholarships, covering tuition, hostel accommodation, and meals. Additionally, applicants have the opportunity to apply for need-based funds to cover travel and laundry expenses.
