Renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took to Instagram to deliver a stern message that he's done offering free advice to aspiring artists. In a detailed post, he declared that he's no longer entertaining unsolicited requests from newcomers seeking his guidance.

In the post, Kashyap expressed frustration over past experiences where he invested time and effort in helping newcomers, only to be disappointed with the results. He emphasized that he's now implementing a strict policy: if someone wants his time, they'll have to pay for it.

Kashyap outlined his rates for meetings: 1 lakh for 10-15 minutes, 2 lakh for half an hour, and 5 lakh for a full hour. He made it clear that all payments must be made in advance, firmly stating, "I am not a charity."

The filmmaker's daughter, Aaliyah, shared her support for her father's decision by forwarding the post to individuals who inundated her with scripts for her father's consideration. Other industry figures, including filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and actress Sunny Leone, echoed Kashyap's sentiments, expressing solidarity with his stance.
