Hyderabad passenger's complaint about UTS ticket booking app goes viral!

A man claimed to have experienced one of the frequently reported annoyances with the app in a recent post on X. Regular commuters utilizing this service are probably already aware of this issue.

The UTS app and the traveller's dilemma! 

Just before leaving, the man going by the handle Venkat posted on social media to say that he felt terrible about the app service since it would not let him purchase a ticket when he got closer to the train track or when he was at the train station. He voiced his worry that this service, which enables users to book tickets instantly without having to scan in at the station even while they are already on the property, needs to be updated. But it turns out that the facility is closed because of supposed wrongdoing that was discovered by officials on board.

Taking a look at his post, he mentioned missing his long-distance train due to the issue caused by the app. Furthermore, he also blamed the officials formulating this app for its functions and not wanting to learn about people's feedback, followed by fixing concerns. He wrote, that he wasn't able to board that because he apparently wanted to scan the QR code as this app didn't allow him to book the ticket. According to him, this is what happens when the bureaucrats sitting in the AC rooms don't want to know how things work.

In order to more effectively address and claim the issue, he uploaded a screenshot of the app. It was discovered that he attempted to purchase an unreserved journey ticket on an MMTS coach that travelled between Hyderabad, and Telangana, between the between the stations of Lingampalli and Bharat Nagar. The ticket cost thirty-five rupees, and if he was successful in booking it—which we weren't—he was supposed to board the earliest train within the next two hours.

He did not jeopardize the validity of his ticket by stepping back from entering, even though a train was right in front of him.
