Humanity alive! Jain community in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk save 100 goats from being slaughter, here’s how

The heart-warming gesture has surfaced from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk where some Jain businessmen together saved goats from slaughtering by paying their price on the occasion of Bakrid. Some called it a commendable act while some said that People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) must learn this from them.

A remarkable episode has surfaced on the occasion of Bakrid from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk where a group of people from the Jain community has saved more than 100 goats from being slaughtered by paying Rs 11 lakh from their pocket.

The heartwarming incident has garnered several likes and shares on social media. Some called it a commendable act while some said that People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) must learn this from them.

According to media sources, Digambar Jain Lal Mandir has bought 112 goats in that are currently at dharamshala and will be moved to some farm where they will spend the rest of their lives peacefully. Meanwhile, the PETA a couple of days back shared a video which shows several people treating goats with fresh fruits and vegetables as a part of the celebration, which are generally sacrificed as a part of the tradition on Bakrid
