The circumstances surrounding how these animals ended up in such a cramped and stifling environment remain unclear. However, there is no denying the immense stress and potential health risks this ordeal inflicted upon them. Shoving so many creatures into a confined space with limited ventilation constitutes a clear violation of animal welfare laws.
The Delhi Police have rightfully taken both the animals and the car into their custody. An investigation is currently underway to determine those responsible for this act of animal cruelty. The rescued goats and sheep have been placed in the care of the Delhi Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) in Tis Hazari.
The video documenting this incident has garnered significant attention online, with many expressing disgust and demanding action against the perpetrators. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of animal welfare and the need for stricter enforcement of laws protecting creatures from such abuse.
