When Google India reminded users that April 1st is a Monday, it did not appear that they were very happy about it. April officially began on that working day, even if you may already be aware that the year 2024 began on a Monday. It is interesting that, despite April 1st being observed as April Fools' Day, Google informed users that it was a Monday this time.
Monday make it for Fools' Day
As for Monday, they truly hoped it never happened and that it was just a joke that vanished along with April Fool's Day. Like most of us, they expressed their no-no mood on Mondays in a relatable Instagram photo provided by Google India.
Memes frequently appear online on Mondays, as it is thought that not many people look forward to Mondays because they signify the beginning of a lengthy workweek. This time, the cacophony peaked on April Fools' Day, which happened to be a non-happening Monday.
On social media, Google India posted a request for help, believing that Monday was a hoax or a falsehood that was not true. "It is a Monday, thus it is a hoax," their Instagram post said. It displayed them submitting an up-close screenshot of the Google search results they saw when they typed in the first day of April. When the post was shared late on March 31, it quickly gained popularity on the internet.
More than 100 comments and almost 13,500 likes were received. Since the tweet touched on both April Fools' Day and the current Monday, many found it humorous and sympathetic. On the widely shared post, some people called it a "Moye Moye" moment, while others just laughed emojistically.
