A video has gone viral on the internet in which bikini-clad foreigners are taking a dip in the Ganga river in Rishikesh. An X user named 'Himalayan Hindu' posted the video on his account with a caption which has become a point of debate on the social media platform. The user claimed that the western tourist culture gaining popularity in Rishikesh will gradually turn the holy place into a mini Bangkok.'

What's in viral video? 

X user says, 'Ganga is changing in the middle of Goa. "Thank you Pushkar Singh Dhami for turning the holy Ganga into Goa beach. In the video posted on Twitter by Himalayan Hindu, foreign women wearing bikinis and men wearing shorts can be seen taking a dip in the holy Ganges river. They can be seen enjoying their activity, living the moment to the fullest. 

However, X user, Himalayan Hindu, not only condemned his act but also tagged Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to bring the video to his attention. The user also posted another video on April 24 in which he had alleged that rave parties and zombie culture were being promoted in Rishikesh and asked the CM to do something before the city gets ruined like this.

The Twitter user captioned the post, "Rishikesh is no longer a city of religion, spirituality and yoga. It has become Goa. Why are such rave parties/zombie culture being promoted in Rishikesh?" He said, "Pushkar Singh Dhami, is this what Devbhoomi is known for? Something needs to be done before they destroy this holy city."
