From Andhra Pradesh to cosmos: Meet Gopi Thotakura, first Indian space tourist

After a two-year hiatus, Jeff Bezos-backed Blue Origin successfully relaunched its space flight program with the thrilling Mission NS-25. The spacecraft, originating from Texas, embarked on an 11-minute journey to space, marking the seventh crewed mission for Blue Origin.

Among the six-member crew onboard was 30-year-old Gopi Thotakura, a skilled pilot hailing from Andhra Pradesh. Renowned for his aviation prowess, Gopi co-founded Preserve Life Corp, a leading holistic health institution near Atlanta International Airport.

Accompanying Gopi were fellow adventurers, including 90-year-old Ed Dwight, who surpassed records as the oldest person to voyage into space.
