Madhya Pradesh: Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh – In a shocking turn of events, a groom collapsed and died while riding a horse during his wedding procession on Friday night. The deceased, Pradeep Jat, a former district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), is suspected to have suffered a heart attack. The tragic incident unfolded at the city's Jat Hostel, where the wedding celebrations were in full swing. A viral video circulating on social media captures the moment Pradeep, dressed in his wedding attire, rides into the venue with a lively procession surrounding him. Moments later, he appears to lose control of the horse and gradually collapses. Onlookers rushed to his aid, but their attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
After the shocking collapse, the wedding celebrations turned into chaos as a large crowd gathered around the unconscious groom. He was immediately rushed to Sheopur District Hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Reports suggest that just before his collapse, Pradeep had briefly dismounted the horse to join the crowd in a traditional celebratory dance. Shortly after remounting, he suffered the fatal episode.
Authorities have yet to confirm the exact cause of Pradeep Jat’s sudden demise, as a post-mortem examination is pending. The incident has left the community in shock, with family and friends mourning the devastating loss.
This heartbreaking tragedy comes just days after another sudden death in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this week, 23-year-old Parinita Jain collapsed and died shortly after dancing to the Bollywood song Sharara Sharara at her cousin’s wedding. Both incidents have raised concerns about underlying health conditions and the increasing cases of sudden collapses during celebrations.
