Fasting or Suffering? Two brothers from Goa die after eating just one date in 24 hours: Know full matter

According to police, the family had been eating just one date a day for several days. Doctors have confirmed the death.

In a tragic incident, two brothers from Goa were found dead at their home. Police said a preliminary probe suggested they died of starvation. Their mother had also been found unconscious at the home. Two brother's father is a garment salesman and had been living separately from his wife and sons for some time due to disagreements over their "fasting". 

Eating just one date a day

According to police, the family had been eating just one date a day for several days. Doctors have confirmed the death. The deceased include engineer Zuber Khan and younger brother Afan Khan. Ruksana Khan, who was found unconscious, is being treated in a government hospital. After which he will be admitted to Goa Medical College and Human Behavior Institute for mental examination. Father Nazir Khan had come to their house in Aquem, Margao to meet the family on Wednesday. He knocked on the door, but got no answer.

Reason of death

After this, when they broke the door and entered inside, the younger son was found dead in the room. The dead body of the elder son was found on the floor in the adjoining room. Mother was found unconscious on the bed. These people were not eating food, which led to death.
Nazir told that he had also come to the house in the beginning of the week, but these people did not allow him to come inside. Nazir's brother Akbar Khan said that the family was cut off from the outside world. These people did not talk to anyone. Nazir had differences with his family, due to which he was living in Margao. 

Nazir used to give money

These people used to eat only one date a day. Nazir told that he used to give some money to these people to buy goods, but for many days these people were not taking the money. Due to depression, these people had also kept the main gate of the house closed. So that no one can come to meet them.
