Fans at Ed Sheeran's Mumbai concert were treated to a unique experience as the singer ventured into Punjabi music territory for the first time ever during his performance on Saturday. 

Joining him on stage was none other than Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, and together, they performed Ed's song "Lover," captivating the audience at the Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds, who responded with thunderous applause.

Diljit and Ed's Punjabi Duet

The highlight of the evening was when Ed and Diljit collaborated on the Punjabi song. Diljit, sharing a snippet of their performance on Instagram, showcased the energy and excitement of the moment. 

Dressed in a striking black and golden outfit paired with a red turban, Diljit's presence added a vibrant Punjabi touch to the concert. Meanwhile, Ed, sporting a casual black T-shirt and jeans, displayed his musical prowess by also playing the guitar during the performance.

Ed Sheeran, in a post on his Instagram account, expressed his joy about performing in Mumbai and singing in Punjabi alongside Diljit Dosanjh. The video he shared captured the duo's chemistry on stage, culminating in a warm embrace as the crowd erupted in cheers.

Ed's caption reflected his enthusiasm for the experience, mentioning, “Got to bring out @diljitdosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India; more to come!” This statement hints at potential future collaborations or performances in the country, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more from the talented artists.
