Driver, 2 children killed in horrific car accident near Delhi; video unveils tragic event

The spectacular footage shows a large number of cars speeding along the multilane highway before the SUV strikes a stationary truck on the far right, spins around a few times, then crashes an oncoming truck, causing it to flip over.

Two youngsters died in a terrible accident that happened on the Meerut-Delhi Expressway near Ghaziabad. The footage of the collision, which was recorded by the CCTV camera mounted on the roadway, is making the rounds on social media. A stationary dumper and a car, purportedly carrying eleven students, crashed on the highway in the footage. 

Breaking down the mishap

The two pupils were among the three people who perished in the disaster.  According to sources, the event happened on the Meerut-Delhi Expressway near Ghaziabad on Saturday, March 30. A group of students traveling from Delhi to Amroha for an entrance exam for a school connected to Jamia Millia Islamia University was traveling in a white Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

"An Ertiga car carrying 11 children from Amroha to Delhi, collided with a dumper truck. Amid chaos, local residents admitted 11 children and the driver to the local hospital," said Poonam Mishra, a police officer. The police reported that Saddam, the truck's driver, had been taken into custody and that the vehicle had become immobile due to low gas. The injured youngsters, who were all in the age range of 10 to 12, were scheduled to take the Class 6 exam in Delhi at Jamia. Driver Anas and his two children, Unesh and Azam, are deceased.

Students who passed!

Unesh and Azam are the names of the two students who passed away. Following the horrifying event, they passed away instantly. The other nine pupils who were involved in the accident and sustained critical injuries have been admitted to a local hospital and are undergoing medical attention. The police have opened an investigation and are watching the accident's CCTV footage.

Driver In Motion

To find out why the dumper was parked on the highway, they are looking for the driver. Additionally, there are rumors that the Delhi Municipal Corporation owned the dumper. It is against the regulations to park a car on the roadway. According to the Ghaziabad Traffic Police, motorists are required to respect the posted speed limit.
