Disturbing! Dogs, rodents eat away 80-year-old dead man in Telangana

A tragic and disturbing event has surfaced from Telangana, where an 80-year-old man was found dead with a wide hole in his chest outside his home in Doragaripalle village near Mancherial town on Thursday. 

According to the sources, the body was found in a decomposed state lying on the floor, when the locals went to the house due to foul smell and reported the incident. The man has been identified as B Gangaiah, who has died of prolonged illness. Locals informed that the hole in the chest of Gangaiah appeared to have been caused by rodents or dog bites.

As per preliminary investigation, Gangaiah was last seen on June 2 at a local shop. Police suspect that he may have died about 3-4 days ago.

Gangaiah was residing with his son, Mallesh, who along with his sisters asked the local authorities for assistance because the body was severely deteriorated. Later, the funeral rites were carried out at a location outside the village, where the authorities provided a vehicle. The death was also reported to the Nagpur police station, but no complaint was made.
