Two days later, Arora claimed that his friend was the owner of the stolen pair in a CCTV clip that he posted on his Facebook. The delivery executive is seen in the video ascending the stairs and then ringing the apartments doorbell. He waits for someone to open the door. Eventually, a woman appears and accepts the package. The executive looks over his shoulder and checks his phone.CCTVs got the case in hand! After removing his head scarf, the agent surveys his surroundings before descending the stairs and cleaning his face. Shortly after, he comes back to retrieve the shoes and conceals them in the fabric before departing. As soon as the video became viral, people denounced the agents actions. A few even continued to compliment the CCTV cameras clarity.Rebuilding trustThe incident has undoubtedly shaken the trust of customers in Swiggys delivery services. However, the company is determined to regain the confidence of its clientele through transparency and accountability. In addition to taking disciplinary action against the erring agent, Swiggy has reached out to affected customers to offer apologies and restitution.
