In a recent viral video from the Delhi Metro, a heated argument between two female passengers captured public attention. One of the women, in an apparent attempt to intimidate the other, claimed her boyfriend was a sub-inspector in the Delhi Police and threatened to involve him. Despite her bold declarations, the other woman remained unfazed, countering with a sharp retort.
The video shows the standing girl raising her voice during the altercation. She said, “Madam, mera banda Delhi Police ka hai. Bulao kya? Sub-inspector hai (My boyfriend is a sub-inspector in Delhi Police. Shall I call him?)” The verbal exchange escalated further as she warned the seated woman about possible repercussions.
However, the other passenger brushed off the threats, responding, “Bhaad mein gaya. Darati hai mujhe toh bula le (I don’t care. If you’re threatening me, go ahead and call him).”

While the cause of the argument remains unknown, the dramatic exchange caught the attention of commuters and viewers online. The standing girl's repeated claims about her boyfriend's occupation in the police force became a focal point of the video.
This is not the first instance of a public altercation on the Delhi Metro. Earlier this year, two women were involved in a scuffle, leading to one being pushed out of the train when it stopped at a station. In another case, a man struck a fellow passenger with a slipper during an argument, resulting in a physical brawl until bystanders intervened.
The latest incident is a reminder of the frequent chaotic episodes reported from the metro, highlighting the challenges of maintaining decorum in public transport.
