Viral Video: A video circulating on social media has stirred controversy after showing individuals dancing to DJ music at Aligarh's Dadon police station. The incident, which took place during a protest by Bharatiya Kisan Union Adhikar on June 18, has drawn widespread attention for its unusual setting and disregard for official premises.

The video captures two men energetically dancing to DJ beats within the police station compound. Despite the presence of law enforcement officers, the dance proceeded unabated. When video went viral online, police immediately came into action.

Police response

Upon discovering the viral video, the Aligarh police immediately took action. They seized the vehicle involved, bearing registration number UP 24 T 0665, which housed the DJ equipment used during the dance. The driver, identified as Sheelendra Kumar from Mahri Nagla Kaser police station in Dadon district, along with the dancer, Swadesh from Nagla Ram police station, faced immediate legal consequences.

Legal actions taken

Both individuals were issued challans under Section 151 for their disruptive behavior. In addition to penalizing the dancer and driver, the police confiscated the DJ equipment to prevent further disturbances. Dadon police station in-charge, Upendra Malik, confirmed the measures taken, emphasizing the seriousness with which such incidents are addressed to maintain public order.
