Bullets Fly in Sonipat Encounter: One Injured, Three Arrested

Sonipat: An encounter took place between the Special Anti Gangster Unit and the criminals in Sonipat, Haryana. In the encounter, a criminal was injured after being shot in the leg. Three people including the injured criminal have been arrested. The injured criminal was admitted to Khanpur Medical. 

Encounter in Sonipat: One Shot, Three Arrested Amid Gunfire

Special Anti Gangster Unit had received information at night that some criminals were planning to commit a crime on the Kakaroi to Baaniyapur road. The police immediately reached the spot and cordoned off the area and asked the criminals to stop. At this, the criminals started firing at the police. In retaliation, a criminal Lakshya got shot in the leg. Lakshya was the one who had fired at the police. While his two accomplices Raunak and Shubham were surrounded and caught by the police.

Sonipat Showdown: Police Wound One, Arrest Three in Fierce Encounter

Encounter between the police and the criminals took place at around 3 am in the morning. The police will also investigate the records of the accused to find out what other crimes these criminals have committed. The police recovered a bike, two mobile phones, a 315 bore country-made pistol and a bullet shell from the criminals.

Sonipat Police Clash: Miscreant Injured, Three Criminals in Custody

The three miscreants had demanded extortion from Bikaneri Mishthan Bhandar of Sonipat three days ago. When the shopkeeper refused to give money, the miscreants threatened to shoot him. Since then the police was searching for them.

The arrested accused, Lakshya and Raunak are residents of Bhatgaon, while Shubham is a resident of Kakaroi village. According to police records, Lakshya and Raunak have been involved in many criminal cases in the past and cases of robbery, extortion and other crimes are registered against them.
