Bill Gates met with PM Narendra Modi, on Thursday, and conversed on many important topics concerning India as well as the world. They discussed DPI, AI for the public good, women-led development, health, innovation in agriculture, and climate adaptation. They also analyzed how lessons from India can be shared with the world. 

Topics discussed 

Among other topics, Gates revealed to have discussed with the Prime Minister Artificial Intelligence, women-led development, innovation in agriculture, health, and climate adaptation, as well as sharing India's lessons with the rest of the world. He expressed that his meetings with PM Modi are always productive and full of motivational talks.

PM Modi replied to the post and stated that the meeting was wonderful. He continued by saying that it is always a pleasure to talk about areas that will improve the planet and provide millions of people worldwide with a better life.

Bill Gates' Itinerary

After arriving in Odisha on Tuesday evening, Gates met with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday. Earlier on Thursday, Gates also had a meeting with the minister of external affairs, S Jaishankar. 

He visited a slum in Bhubaneswar with state government leaders and asked about the well-being of the people living there. Additionally, the donor had discussions with women's self-help groups (SHGs) around the state.

Reports state that Gates will also be present at the pre-wedding celebrations in Jamanagar, Gujarat, ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding.
