However, her life quickly turned into a nightmare as she endured emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her alcoholic husband. A Blossoming Relationship

The couple's relationship developed from professional visits to love. Initially, their interactions were strictly professional, but over time, Indra and Pawan developed a deep connection that blossomed into love. For five months, they kept their relationship hidden, navigating the complexities of their circumstances. On February 4, they fled to Asansol, West Bengal, where they spent time with Indra’s aunt before returning to Jamui.

Controversial Union

Despite familial opposition, the couple marries amid legal threats. On February 11, the couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony attended by friends and supporters. While Pawan's family welcomed the union, Indra’s relatives reacted negatively and filed an FIR against him. Despite this legal turmoil and threats from her family, Indra firmly stated that her decision to marry was made freely and willingly.

Seeking Protection and Acceptance

The couple appeals for protection amid familial backlash. Fearing retaliation from her family and societal backlash, Indra and Pawan have sought police protection.
