In journalism, reporting is considered as one of the most difficult tasks. As far as TV news reporting is concerned, real-time reporting on live cameras and on air makes things even more difficult as one has to think and react while narrating the details of the story. But sometimes, a reporter makes a mistake on air that may be embarrasing or even amusing to some people. Similar incident happened on April 23 with a TV news reporter of a reputed channel.
A reporter named Ashmit was reporting live on the Patanjali case in Supreme Court and got frustrated by messing up his words. He even abused while reporting on air. While the reporter knew he was reporting live, he uttered an expletive while trying to correct himself. The reporter realized his mistake almost immediately but it was too late.

However, the anchor came to the reporter's rescue and immediately cut him off, saying, "We'll come back to that in a bit. We couldn't hear you properly Ashmit." Even the channel apologized and posted on X, "On a live broadcast earlier today, a reporter inadvertently used inappropriate language without knowing he was on air.
We sincerely apologize for the mistake." and will work even harder to ensure we maintain the highest standards."
