Viral Video: In the bustling streets of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, what started as a joyous wedding procession soon turned into a chaotic scene of flying chairs and fists over a seemingly small matter: the absence of chicken leg pieces in the biryani. At Sartaj Baraatghar in Nawabganj, where the wedding celebrations were in full swing, tensions brewed over the distribution of food among the guests. 

Some baratis were disgruntled when they discovered that the prized chicken leg pieces were missing from their plates of biryani. What began as a mild objection escalated into a heated exchange between the groom's party and the bride's family.

Bride's kin strike back

As tempers flared, punches were thrown and kicks exchanged in a frenzy of frustration and indignation. The groom himself was drawn into the melee, intensifying the uproar. Amidst the chaos, someone captured the brawl on camera and soon, the video spread like wildfire across social media platforms.

Standoff causes unwanted results

The situation deteriorated to the extent that the groom's family adamantly refused to proceed with the marriage ceremony. Despite efforts from both sides to resolve the dispute, the baratis stood firm, demanding retribution for what they perceived as a slight against them.

Hours passed in negotiations fraught with emotion and tension. Finally, after midnight, with persistent persuasion from the bride's family, a fragile truce was broken. Both parties reluctantly agreed to set aside their differences and allow the wedding rituals to continue.

As the dust settled and the wedding concluded, the barat departed amidst lingering tension. Meanwhile, the video capturing the brawl continued to circulate widely on social media, portraying a startling scene of discord over a culinary preference. Despite the video's viral status, no formal complaints were lodged with the police, leaving the incident's legal ramifications uncertain.
