Now, a video is going viral on social media where a recipe for a blue-coloured ghee rice attracked interest.Whats in viral video In the @cookingammas Instagram reel, a vlogger washing butterfly pea flowers and separating their petals from the stems. Then, she boils water in a vessel and puts the petals in it. After boiling them together on low flame for some time, she removes the petals from the vessel. She adds the soaked rice to the blue liquid in the pot. She cooks it on medium flame for about 20 minutes. Later she adds salt and ghee on top. In another vessel she heats ghee and adds whole spices. She also adds cashew nuts, raisins, chopped onion and chopped green chillies. She mixes the earlier blue rice with this masala base. Once the ingredients are mixed well, Butterfly Matar Ghee Rice is ready to serve.
