Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is said to have accepted responsibility for the Sunday shooting outside Salman Khan's home in Bollywood. Anmol, who is allegedly hiding in the US but is wanted in India, allegedly sent a warning to the actor on social media, calling the firing simply a "trailer."
"Peace is what we desire. So be it, if going to war is the only option available to combat oppression. Salman Khan, we have merely given you a trailer so you can appreciate the extent of our power and not push it too far. The first and last warning is this one. Shots will not be fired outside the home alone after this. We also have dogs named after the people you worship, Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel. I do not usually chat a lot now," the post stated.
This happened when two unidentified guys riding bikes fired four rounds of bullets outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence in Mumbai early on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at roughly 4.51 am outside Galaxy Apartments; no one was hurt. The Bollywood actor's home is now more heavily guarded. Bullet casings shot outside Khan's home were found during a visit to the scene by the crime branch, local police, and forensic experts for further investigation.
Salman Khan has received multiple death threats from wanted criminal Goldy Brar and jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Lawrence Bishnoi's gang also killed rapper and musician Sidhu Moose Wala from Punjab. The man suspected of killing Moose Wala, Anmol Bishnoi, also known as Bhanu, is still in hiding. Using a forged passport, he fled India, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed accusations against him last year.
The bike involved in the shooting incident near Salman Khan's residence has been found. As per the media reports, the forensic team is currently examining the bike. It was recovered in the Bandra area, near Mount Mary.
