Amidst Bengaluru's water crisis, a doctor's innovative water-saving methods have caught the attention of netizens. Dr Divya Sharma, a resident of the tech hub, shared her family's water-saving hacks on social media, which have garnered widespread appreciation for their simplicity and effectiveness.

Dr Sharma's approach aims to significantly reduce water usage without disrupting daily routines. She highlighted four key tips to conserve water during these challenging times. She suggested replacing overhead showers with bucket baths, emphasizing that a five-minute shower consumes 45 liters compared to a 20-liter bucket bath.

Furthermore, she advocated for installing aerators on taps, and reducing water consumption during dishwashing sessions from 450 liters to 90 liters. Moreover, she recommended collecting waste water from RO systems for mopping and gardening purposes, further saving around 30 liters daily. Lastly, she advised against car washing, opting for dusting and occasional wet cloth cleaning instead.
