The situation worsened when an off-camera voice said "6,000 INR," a term associated with derogatory jokes about Russian women. Mithilesh confronted the man, demanding that he take responsibility
The YouTuber was recording his wife Lisa when he interrupted his video to confront the harasser. "Kisko bola? Meri wife Russian hai toh tu ulta seedha comment dega?" he questioned, visibly enraged. Mithilesh said the security at the palace discouraged him from involving the police. Their careless attitude made him even more frustrated about the way India handles the safety of women
The YouTuber, who wanted to show the world the beauty and safety of India, was distressed. "I wanted to promote Indian tourism, but this experience was shocking and shameful," he said. Mithilesh shared that the men had been following his family and making lewd remarks before the "6,000 INR" comment. The blatant harassment in a public space left him questioning societal attitudes
Mithilesh, highlighting his anger and disappointment, urged for stricter measures to ensure the safety and dignity of women in public places.
