Policy Bazaar ad (X/ @SidKeVichaar)
In a recent announcement by Policybazaar promoting life insurance has burned significant counterreaction on social media due to its perceived insensitivity. The announcement, vented during the India vs Pakistan ICC titleholders jewel match on February 23, has faced counterreaction with druggies, labelling it "disgusting" and indeed comparing it unfavourably to controversial reflections made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia.
The announcement features a grieving woman expressing frustration over her late hubby's failure to buy term life insurance. She's heard saying," Main academy ki freights kaise bharungi, ghar ka kharcha bhi hai?"( How will I pay the academy fees)?
This PolicyBazaar ad is not only insanely insensitive it shows deep rooted patriarchal mindset.

"Another user called it "not only asleep but disgusting," prompting PolicyBazaar to withdraw the announcement and replace it with a more sensible interpretation.
A third user compared it to recent difficulties, opining, "personality to men and humanity. Worse than Ranveer Allahbadia, "pertaining to the YouTuber's recent counterreaction over controversial reflections on a reality show. Others criticised the depiction of the grieving woman’s feelings." Indeed the way she delivers her discourses is filled with wrathfulness towards her late hubby. How asleep can the pens and makers of this announcement be?" one of the user remarked. The contestation gained traction online, with the post garnering over 1.3 million views and further than 2,500 commentary. The discussion was accompanied by hashtags similar as #PolicyBazaar and #INDvsPAK.
