'Shame on CarryMinati' trends after controversial roast of Virat Kohli in IPL 2024

Ajey Nagar, also known as CarryMinati, is an Indian YouTuber who got into trouble when his video of RCB batter Virat Kohli getting roasted went viral during the 2024 Indian Premier League. Minati, who had mocked Kohli for not having won an IPL trophy yet, was met with fury from the fans. 

CSK vs RCB rivelry 

Notably, CSK and RCB played the opening match of the 17th Indian Premier League season on March 22 at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK's new captain, led his team to a six-wicket victory. 

Crictism on the critic?

Minati, who is renowned for harshly criticizing others, created a special broadcast on Star Sports in which he ultimately roasted former RCB captain Virat Kohli. Nagar talked about other franchises in addition to it. The YouTuber did not hold back when discussing his admiration for the Bengaluru team and even offered a harsh critique of Kohli. Because of the negative reaction from Kohli's supporters, "Shame on CarryMinati" quickly became popular on X.
