'I will work anywhere, but not in Bihar!' KVS teacher’s viral remark sparks outrage| WATCH

Bihar: A 24-year-old primary school teacher of kendriya Vidyalaya in Jehanabad, who is originally from West Bengal expressed disconnect over her inaugural posting in Bihar, for calling it unacceptable. The teacher got suspended after the video got viral.

In the viral video, Deepali a 24-year-old primary school teacher stated her preference for posting in regions like Kolkata, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh and even Ladakh, over Bihar state. She said that she will always remember about her first posting. Kendriya Vidyalaya has many regions, there are many people who don't like Kolkata but  she was ready to work there. She further added that she would even go to places where no one wants to go like Kolkata, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh even Ladakh, but would not work in Bihar. 

Complaint against KVS teacher

Deepali claimed that Bihar Hampers progress of India and people of Bihar lack civic sense. Her insensitive remarks regarding Bihar widespread outrage. Sambhavi Choudhary MP of Lok Jan shakti Party lodged complaint. After this complaint the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) suspended the teacher immediate effect on 25th February. Deepali has been transferred to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chhapra for the duration of suspension

Following a complaint lodged by Lok Janshakti Party MP Shambhavi Choudhary, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan( KVS) suspended the schoolteacher with immediate effect on February 25. The schoolteacher, linked as Deepali, has been transferred to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mashrak, Chhapra, for the duration of the suspense.

No FIR has been filed yet

The Jehanabad quarter administration condemned the schoolteacher’s conduct, labeling them as 'largely condemnable' and emphasizing the way taken in agreement with established rules and regulations. The police have also initiated a disquisition into the incident. While the schoolteacher has been questioned by the Cyber Police Station, no FIR has been filed yet. The police are presently examining all aspects of the case, including the videotape’s origin, which is believed to be from over a month agone , to determine applicable legal action.
