However, there was some tension between the duo, which escalated with time. It reached an untameable degree on the flight when an argument erupted between the duo. People who witnessed the argument said that infuriated Kapil hit Sunil Grover, following which Sunil departed from the show. 

Since then, there has been a lot of drama and speculation as to whether the duo will collaborate again or not. However, with the launch of  'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show' on Netflix, fans have expressed their merriment towards the collaboration of the duo.
