Viral: Recently, a video was going viral across social media, incriminating a shocking situation in which a woman abused a taxi driver for arriving seven minutes late. The woman's aggressive behavior, including verbal abuse, threats, and even spitting on the driver, has drawn widespread condemnation. Social media users are calling for her to be banned for life from all ride-sharing platforms.
Despite the unrelenting abuse, the cab driver remained remarkably calm throughout the ordeal. He politely asked the woman to leave the vehicle and suggested she lodge a complaint with the cab company if dissatisfied. "This cab driver was 7 mins 'late'. The woman abused the driver, threatened him, and spat on him. The taxi driver never lost his cool. It is good that he recorded the incident," an X user wrote while sharing the video.

The Taxi Driver never lost his cool. He stayed calm & composed. It is good that he recorded the incident. Otherwise, Samaj would have declared himself the culprit… pic.twitter.com/hVlnSEFkb1
Incident Videocaptured by a cab driver showing how the woman began accusing him of being late, and in an outburst, accused him of delay in both Hindi and English languages. She could not let his explanation about being late because of heavy traffic flow get into her mind. Eventually, the driver had to ask her to leave his cab with words that she was free to get another cab.
The incident prompted heated debates across social media networks. One commenter asked, "Why is she screaming?" Another countered, "If he was running late, she could have called off. Why start abusing after she got in? Who is she to insult the driver?" Other people demanded better action, where one said, "She must be banned preemptively by all cab services in order to avoid such customers being a nuisance for drivers. Yet another comment pointed to the personal aspect of her attacks, saying, "My heart sank when she said your children will be drivers as well. Bringing family into this is unacceptable."
It is not the first time this kind of thing has been in the spotlight. A previous Reddit post involved a woman who had accused a cab driver of telling her unsolicited advice about marriage, and users debated the issue of boundaries between service providers and customers.
