'Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner' Elvish Yadav admits supplying snake venom at rave parties

Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, who has been arrested by Noida police in a snake venom case, has admitted to arranging snakes and snake venom at rave parties organised by him.

A few months ago, he was seen at a rave party, where he was having a dance-party with his friends, allegedly with rare snakes around their necks. The video went viral on social media, the administration swung into action. Noida Police has registered a case against Elvish Yadav under Section 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act). 

At present, Elvish Yadav has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. He had provided snake venom at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51 on November 3 last year. The forensic team had also confirmed this. Then a case was registered against Elvish Yadav and six others under Wildlife Protection Act and Section 129(A) of IPC. Elvish had been interrogated before but the police had not arrested him then.

What is Snake Venom case?

Last year, a group of 5 people were arrested in connection with a rave party. Elvish Yadav was one of them. During a raid in Noida Sector 49, the police recovered nine snakes, which included five cobras and seized about 20 ml of snake venom.
