After days of war of words between Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk over X (formerly known as Twitter) vs Threads row, it seems that Zuckerberg is ready to end this fight with him now. His recent post on Threads, saying ‘time to move on’ has created a sensation on the internet that whether it’s finally a full stop to the tussle or not.

Zuckerberg might wish to end tussle with X’s Elon Musk

Taking it to Threads, Zuckerberg wrote, “I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

X vs Threads

For those who are still unaware, the public rivalry between X CEO Musk and Zuckerberg intensified after the initial success of Meta’s newly launched Threads social media platform in July. Since then, the netizens often witnessed a war of words between both of them. Reportedly, Threads, which allows users to post short blurbs or blogs in a similar way to that of X, the Musk-owned platform formerly known as Twitter, reached 100 million users within a week of its launch.

Amid this, Elon Musk always had a bone of connotation over this matter. Meanwhile, last week Musk posted a health update that he will receive an MRI of his neck and upper back, which may require surgery.
