After upgrading the app with the latest features for the users, WhatsApp soon launch it’s another feature, which will allow the users to share their screens. It seems that Android features are constantly beating iOS in the view of developers.
As of now, the screen-sharing option is available on iOS phones during FaceTime chats, as well as other video calls services such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Now, with the new feature, users will be able to share the screen on WhatsApp on Android smartphones with a dedicated icon in the call control view.
It is important to note here, that users will have complete control over the feature and they can discontinue sharing the screen anytime they wish to.
Reportedly, the screen-sharing option is currently available to the Android beta testers only, and after the testing access will be granted to the users of the app. Furthermore, the screen-sharing option will be available only after the user will grant permission for the same.
Apart from this, the revelations, also suggest that users will be soon able to use the password protection feature also. The feature will help the user to ensure the accuracy of the encrypted backup.
A few days back, adding to the features, WhatsApp introduced the editing feature, which will allow users to edit the message, even after sending the message. Taking it to Twitter, WhatsApp has shared a video which has informed that users will soon be able to edit all the messages that they send. Earlier, the users had to delete the message, but this will save time now. However, the release date of this feature has not been disclosed so far. The teaser says it will release soon.
