The Meta-owned service has added a feature that will make it simpler and faster to contact back the person who originally placed the call to make missed WhatsApp calls more noticeable.

According to the sources, the platform that analyses news and changes linked to WhatsApp and was the first to publish about this option termed this function “Call back.” The call-back feature is currently available only for beta testers and it is soon expected to roll out for all users.

How does the ‘Call back’ function?

The event notification that appears on WhatsApp after a call is missed now has a ‘Call back’ button. To call the individual who made the initial call back, users simply need to hit the button.

WhatsApp ‘Channels’ now available in India

The Channels feature of WhatsApp has just gone live in India. Administrators can send one-way broadcasts to users using this functionality, which supports text, images, videos, stickers, and polls. Additionally, WhatsApp is working hard to create a searchable directory that will make it easier for users to explore channels that are relevant to their interests, such as hobbies, sports teams, and local government updates. The directory wants to make it more convenient for users by making it easier to find and follow channels they might be interested in. Users can quickly click on invite links offered in conversations, emails, or online postings to join a particular WhatsApp Channel.
