Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, and other tools now have generative AI capabilities thanks to the addition of Gemini models to the Google Workspace. The company is currently attempting to enhance the Gemini function for Gmail by adding replies that are created by AI. With the help of this functionality, users wont have to deal with the inconvenience of starting from scratch every time they want to respond.AI-generated replies for the Gmail appAccording to the sources, Reply suggestions from Gemini will be displayed on the interface. However, at the initial level the feature will be available to the limited users with Google One AI Premium plan.Currently, the feature has been spotted in developer flags in Gmail. Gemini will analyze the content written in the mail received and will generate smart replies accordingly. In the beginning, the replies will include three options that users can edit, add, or change based on their preferences. After choosing the desired option and making the required changes, you can send reply to the user. The pre-written replies will allow the users to instantly send replies without wasting any time on giving the AI tool prompt by using the “Help me write” feature or simply drafting the entire email. As per sources, the feature is currently being tested among the developers. However, there is no official statement from Google has been given on this yet.
