Oppo is gearing up for the launch of its Reno 12 series in India, comprising two smartphones: the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. Positioned in the mid-budget segment, these phones are set to debut on the popular e-commerce platform Flipkart. The company has officially confirmed the impending release of this series in the Indian market.

A dedicated webpage has been set up by Oppo for its upcoming Reno 12 series, signaling an imminent launch in India. Highlighting advanced camera capabilities, both models will boast AI-enhanced features such as AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, AI Clear Voice, Google Gemini-based AI Summary, AI Record Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Specifications (Expected)

The Oppo Reno 12 Series is anticipated to feature a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The base model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed ​​Edition processor, while the Pro variant might include the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed ​​Edition processor.

Both smartphones will sport a dual-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, along with a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies. The series will also integrate a robust 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Operating on ColorOS based on Android 14, these phones are set to deliver seamless performance and user experience.

Internationally, the Oppo Reno 12 will offer a 6.7-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is expected to come with configurations of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, available in colours like Ebony Black, Millennium Silver, and Soft Peach. Notably, the device will carry an IP65 rating, ensuring resistance to water and dust.

In parallel news, Vivo has introduced its latest smartphone offering in India, the Vivo T3 Lite. This new addition expands Vivo’s T series lineup following the earlier launches of the Vivo T3 and Vivo T3x this year. The Vivo T3 Lite appears to be a rebranded version of the global Vivo Y28s 5G, featuring an IP64-rated build, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and other compelling features.
